-
One person (the marker) in the foursome inputs all players’ scores under the Enter Scores section of the Golf Genius App.
-
Input players’ gross, unadjusted scores. After you enter all scores on a hole, tap Save Scores and it will move to the next hole.
-
You can return to previous holes and change scores a many times as you wish, but remember to click Save Scores before you move on to a different hole.
-
If a player picks up, enter an X. You do not need to enter a number after the X. Golf Genius will automatically change the score to a Net Double Bogey (max score). (If a player does not hole out on a hole counted towards the Sweeps game, they will be ineligible for Sweeps prizes.)
-
If a player does not play a hole, leave the score blank.
-
At least one person in the foursome needs to keep a full paper scorecard. The card(s) will not be turned in, but are critical for verifying scores when you finish.
-
At the end of the round, all players in the pairing must carefully verify hole-by-hole scores.
-
If the marker is finding the mobile scoring is draining their cell phone battery, it might be helpful to use a charger out on the course.
- DO NOT POST YOUR SCORE TO GHIN. This will automatically be done for you by Golf Genius. Hang on to your paper scorecard for a day or two in case there are any questions.
- The results can be found by going to the BPWGC Golf Genius Portal (where you signed up to play) or under the Leaderboard. You must log in to the Portal to see the Results as they are not viewable by the public.
